… but i certainly follow them on twitter. its a good resource for tours, news and the like. some of our shows at New Slang arent allowed to be announced until NME exclusively announces them, bands i care about care about their NME album review etc etc. The blog on RSD last year was terrible. Rock Sound then showed the world why.
but today, their @NMEmagazine feed was SO bad, i thought someone had hacked them. but seeming not.

a feed about #howshitisedsheeran is embarrassing, saddening and non-productive. its so bad. fair enough if you dont like the artist. Many do, many don’t. I have a lot of time for him and there’s some classy songs on there. His two sell out shows last year were personal highlights for me and he was so good with his fans and a model professional performer who has been doing it DIY for years.
but to encourage, and to glorify personal insults is a terrible thing. this negativity doesnt do anything to inspire bands, or music or community. it just divides.
a sad time for music journalism.
Very much agreed.

Very much agreed.
few songs, but this is ridiculous. Also reminded me...year, jesus christ that
circulation figures recently, just doesn’t get that hating on bands...doesn’t deem cool...
